Parents and Guests

Your child might be the one moving into a dorm and enrolling in classes but you are becoming part of the Clemson family too! Families are just as much a part of the Clemson community as their students. The most important thing to do as a parent is to support your child and help prepare them for college. Soon they will be living on their own and they will appreciate your support through their transition. Your child will grow as an individual as they discover the many organizations and opportunities that Clemson offers. At orientation you will be able to attend information sessions and learn more about campus safety and policies and the many academic resources available to your student.  To register for orientation click the link on the right, and don't forget to explore the many resources on Clemsons campus.

For my parents, I was the last child to send off to college. Both of my parents attended very small colleges in New York, so coming to a University like Clemson was a new experience for all of us. They quickly realized why Clemson was the perfect school for me and now are always looking for ways to get involved. My parents have fully immersed themselves in the Clemson family and are thankful for the many opportunities that Clemson has given me.
